Can the centre apply for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) on my behalf?
Unfortunately, we are not able to apply CCS on your behalf. However, we will provide you with step-by-step guidelines to assist you through the requirements to apply for the subsidy. We aim to make it as easy for you as possible.
Can I visit the childcare facility before enrolling my child?
How many trial visits does my child experience?
Orientation is an important start for your child and family to connect to our service. Educ Early Childhood Education offers two free morning orientation sessions (approximately 1 hours per session) before they start their first day with us and we encourage each child to attend our service in the company of a family member.
Do the children receive meals?
We provide a nutritionally balanced morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack. We follow the Australian Dietary Guidelines to ensure our meals are prepared to meet the dietary requirements for all children. Our menu is carefully planned and prepared by a qualified cook.
Can I bring food to the centre?
Please be aware that we are an Allergy Aware Centre. Unfortunately, no food is to be brought into the premises at any time.
How do you handle allergies or special dietary requirements?
We cater for the dietary requirements of all children enrolled at our Service. Our educators undergo allergen awareness training regularly to understand the importance of avoiding cross-contamination and how to respond in case of an allergic reaction. Please discuss your child’s special requirements, allergies and any other medical conditions with us.
Do you offer casual childcare?
The casual booking is only provided for the child/ren who has/have enrolled with permanent booking in Educ Early Childhood Education. Speak to us for more information about short-term care.
How do you communicate with parents about their child’s daily activities?
Our Service uses Xplor to provide real time updates about your child’s day. You are welcome to call us on 0862 618 226 to check on your child too.
Can I breast feed anytime?
We are a breastfeeding friendly service. Mothers who are breastfeeding are welcome to attend the Service during the day to feed their infant. We have a private, clean and quiet area for mothers to breastfeed their infants or express breastmilk. We also store expressed breast milk too.
